BodyLooks Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the BodyLooks mobile application (“App”) used by U.S. users on the Apple iOS platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
This policy contains important information about how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information. It also explains your rights related to your personal information and how to contact us. Please read and fully understand this policy before using or continuing to use our products and services.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
BodyLooks is designed to be simple, easy to use, and privacy-focused. You do not need to register or create an account to use the application. We do not collect usernames, email addresses, passwords, or any other personally identifiable account information.
●Face Data
1) BodyLooks does not collect any facial data. The in-app body reshaping and facial enhancement features (such as fine-tuning face shape, eyes, or nose) are purely virtual edits performed locally on the user's device. We do not extract, collect, or retain any facial data—including facial landmarks, biometric information, or facial feature data—at any stage.
2) The original image is always stored locally on the user's device; the editing process does not extract or store any face-related data.
3) Because no facial data is collected, there is no data to share with third parties.
2. Information We Collect and Use
While we do not collect personal user account information, we may collect limited technical data to improve app performance and user experience. This includes:
Device model and type
Operating system version
Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, device ID, IP address)
App usage statistics (e.g., crash logs, screen views)
This data is collected through trusted third-party analytics providers and is used solely for internal performance analysis and debugging. It is not used to identify users or track users across apps. (See Article 7 for third-party explanations)
3. Service Description and AI Disclaimer
BodyLooks provides creative image editing services, including but not limited to:
AI-driven features (hairstyle/hair color try-on) are for virtual visual enhancement only and do not represent real body changes or medical effects.
You use AI features at your own risk. BodyLooks is not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the editing results or any misuse of the edited content.
When using AI features:
● We do not collect any facial data.
● The image you select will be encrypted and transmitted to our secure server for processing.
● After processing, the result will be sent back to your device.
● Neither the original image nor the processed image is stored on our servers. It will be deleted immediately after processing.
● We will not use uploaded photos for AI training, data analysis, or share them with any third party.
● We use HTTPS secure transmission protocol to protect your data during transmission.
4. Storage Permissions:
When you use body and face editing features, as well as AI hair styling and coloring features, we need permission to access your local media to select videos or images. When you save a completed photo, we need local media storage permission to save it. This permission is only for editing and saving photos. We will not retrieve any photos from your device, nor will we modify or delete the content in your local media storage. This permission will be used to provide you with services and to save completed photos.

5. Data Storage and Retention
● We do not store any personal content on our servers.
● Device and diagnostic data collected through analytics tools will be anonymized or pseudonymous as much as possible.
● We retain limited non-personal information only for the time necessary to maintain and improve the application.
6. Data Security
We take appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include:
● Encrypted communication with our servers
● Secure data centers for cloud processing
● Local storage of sensitive personal content on your device
However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
This application is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.We will take immediate steps to delete such data.
7. Third-party services

8. Your Privacy Rights (US Users)
Under US law, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/California Privacy Act (CPRA) (applicable to California residents) and similar state laws, you have rights related to your personal information. Because we do not collect or store your personal information:
You do not need to request access to, correct, or delete your personal data (because we do not hold any such data);
You do not need to provide personal information to use this application;
You can uninstall this application at any time to stop all application-related activities (uninstallation will not affect photos stored on your device).
9. Your Rights
● You have control over your data and privacy. You can exercise the following rights at any time: Manage permissions: Revoke or adjust app permissions (e.g., permission to store photos) through the Settings menu on your iOS device.
● Delete local data: Uninstalling the app will delete all local data stored on your device.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, or our business practices. We will notify you of significant updates via in-app notifications or app updates.
